Project Summary

The purpose of the project is to make a fridge that can allow fruits and vegetables to last longer compared to other fridges. This would be done by storing fruits and vegetables in enclosed containers, which would then be stored in a fridge. Inside these containers, temperature and humidity would be regulated to a specific environment. This would be done by utilizing sensors, valves, humidifiers, and the blower from the fridge itself. This device would allow people to go to the grocery store less for produce and promote healthier eating habits due to an increase in sustainability with fruits and vegetables.
